Smudge free eyeliner

Hi guys,

I hope you are all well.

Since my last post, I've been struck down with a bad bug, which has felt like the Flu. I've been in bed and felt like my arms and legs had been stamped on.

It started with a heavy head feeling, then the shakes with cold sweats, nausea, oh my gosh the list is endless. It's pretty much floored me.

Anyway enough of that, I'm getting there slowly but surely.

RIGHT!!!!, can anyone tell me a SMUDGE FREE eyeliner in a pencil. I can't get it to stay put, especially under my eyes. I put primer on my eye lids, which my eye shadow will stay and I put some primer under my eyes, but I can't get the pencil liner to stay put.

Can anyone suggest an eyeliner that doesn't go anywhere and is pretty much smudge free or even if any of you have any tips to share with me on how to prevent eyeliner from smudging.

Please let a comment and let me know. I would really appreciate it.

Real Techniques Core Collection

Hi everyone

The Real Techniques Core Collection Includes:
  • A Buffing Brush
  • A Contour Brush
  • A Small Foundation Brush
  • A Detailer Brush
From left to right: Detailer Brush, Small Foundation Brush, Contouring Brush and Buffing Brush

The Buffing Brush
I use my buffing brush for buffing in my liquid foundations. You could also use it for powder foundations if you wanted. This brush works really well at blending my foundation into my skin.

The Contour Brush
I use my contour brush for my blusher, as you can see in the picture that my brush needs washing. I only dab the tip of the brush onto my blush as apparently the fibres in the brush itself will blend over your face, so there is no need to cake your brush with blush (wow that was a tongue twister). A little tip there that I picked up from Pixiwoo's channel on YouTube. You could also use this brush for highlighting, bronzing (contouring) or use it to set your foundation with a setting powder.

Real Techniques Core Collection - £14.95 free delivery with Amazon Prime

The Small Foundation Brush
I can't get on with using this brush to put a full face of foundation on. To me, you don't get the same effect as when you use the buffing brush. I use this brush for contouring with cream concealer, especially around my nose area. It still is an excellent brush.

The Detailer Brush
I also use this brush to conceal any imperfections that have appeared on my face. You could use it for eye-shadow, lipstick, lip gloss applications. It's a cute little brush to have in your collection.

I've had these brushes since Christmas last year, and have been meaning to post them on my blog. Well I can positively say that I use these brushes every time I apply my make-up. In my opinion, I get a better look when using make-up brushes to using my hands, even though I still use my hands for some things.

My Husband brought them me as a present, they are very well priced, and at the time they were cheapest on Amazon so I think these make excellent present for anyone who loves make-up or is starting off using make-up.

They come in the most ideal little carry case, so you could put your favourite real techniques or other brushes you have on your travels.

I have the Real Techniques Starter Kit too, so my next post will be about them.

Speak soon.

Samy Fat Hair "0" Calories Products

Hi Guys

I hope you are all well.

I've had these hair products since December 2013, and have just finished the shampoo and conditioner. I have still to finish the mousse and thickening spray. I got them from Amazon, where I get most of my products from, as I love Amazon, especially Amazon Prime.

They are not the cheapest products in the world, but I thought I would give them a go, seeing as though they are thickening products.

I have four of them at the moment, there are different products like hairspray and styling gel in the shops, but I thought I would try these first.

1. Fat Hair Thickening Shampoo & Conditioner Duo
3. Fat Hair Thickening Spray
4. Fat Hair Amplifying Mousse

I would have to say, that when I first started using these products, my hair felt quite sticky and greasy. But after continuous use it really felt like it was making my hair look and feel thicker.

They are not the best of smells, but not the worst either. Also I find when I use the Mousse and Thickening spray together, the next morning/day I don't need to wash my hair. Whereas other days when I have put products in my hair, they would make my hair feel/look greasy the next day and I would have to wash it all out. I can do a lot with my hair after using these products, which for me is fantastic, as I don't need to wash my hair as much, which will prevent even more hair drop-outs.

You can only try and see what products are like. These products might not work for everyone, but I certainly will be ordering the Duo shampoo and conditioner again, as I have just run out of them both. Arggghhh.

Let me know if anyone else has used these products and what you think of them, and maybe give me suggestions on any different products, or cheaper one that work for you. I would love to hear from you.

Speak soon.

A Black Tie Event - Women's Dress and Accessories

Hi everyone

I hope you are all well.

This Saturday, my husband and I have been invited to a Evening Dinner and the dress code is ( Black Tie), oooo very fancy.

In one of my previous posts I mentioned I saw a dress from TK Maxx, but I wanted to wait for it to come into the store, so I could try it on. Anyway it never did, and I have been going back to the store pretty much everyday for the past month, as they have new deliveries everyday. Nothing caught my eye until the last minute and I saw this beautiful Black Halter-neck Maxi Dress. The Brand Name for this dress is The London Times.

It was £39.99 From TK Maxx, but they only had one in my local store, I was lucky to have found it. It must have been waiting for me and I'm so happy that I managed to get into a size 10, whereas other items of clothing I'm a size 12-14.

If you want to buy this dress you can buy this dress online from Macy's, as it's not available from TK Maxx online. The price of this dress is alot more than what I paid for it. The Macy's price is £71.71, so I got a bargain from TK Maxx.

It has a beautiful Halter-neck neckline with a keyhole detail at the front and back, and a button fastener at the back.

On me this dress is the perfect length, I have brought some black satin peep toe shoes with a bow on the front and the heel height is 2 inches, and it just lifts the dress off the floor, so it is full length on me which I love.

I brought some accessories from Primark to add abit of bling to my outfit, they look quite expensive once on.

My shoes I brought from Ebay and they were very reasonably priced at £12.80 free delivery, the seller is called highstreetretailer and they have a shop on Ebay.

Once I'm ready on Saturday evening I will get my husband to take some pictures of me in my outfit, so you can see what the dress looks like on.

This isn't me (haha) this is the model from Macy's - London Times Sleeveless Illusion Chevron Maxi Dress
£39.99 from TK Maxx
Keyhole detail at the front and the back
Chevron detail which gives a flattering figure.

Bracelet and Earrings from Primark - Bracelet £3.00 / Earrings £1.00
Black Satin look clutch bag from Primark £6.00

I'm planning on doing my hair in a loose bun with a jewelled hair comb in the side. I was going to have my hair down with my hair extensions in to give a bit of volume, but I saw some pictures on the internet with a lose bun and thought it will keep it off my face when I'm dancing and it's a hairstyle that I can actually do myself, so I don't need to go and pay to have an updo.

Here are some pictures of what I mean with the bun and hair comb.

I will post pictures of my attempt once I'm ready.

Take care of yourselves and leave a comment and let me know what you think of my dress and accessories.
